Artsfest 2007 Report of the day - see the 2008 programme - July 5th
Setting up - with over 20 artists to accommodate, Sioux worked hard to organise everyone and place the art within the Church - with fabulous results:

The pieces fitted into the fabric of the Church as though they were meant to be there - the Church wardens were happy for us to make use of the 'furniture' so we could set them up as part of the space rather than imposing on it:

images of Artsfest 2007 Music was performed from the balcony, creating a lovely atmosphere the whole afternoon. There was quite a variety of performers and styles - including jazz keyboards, recorders playing baroque music, a string quartet made up of very talented teenagers, "Chrysalis" - a trio set up especially for the weekend offering jazz vocals, cello, keyboard and violin (see left). Last but by no means least, Cantiana (below) sang a mixture of anthems, gospels and fun songs from their Summer repertoire.

All the feedback we have had has been positive (lucky us!), with warm praise for the quality of the exhibition and the music. We plan to organise another ArtsFest at Lynsted Church in 2008 in the same style.
